As the former president of the Sewing Club in highschool, I still keep up in new trends in fashion. I moved on to jewelry but still kept a leg in fashion. I recently saw ThreadLab on Kickstarter and thought to myself, “I’m pretty sure I did this as a kid but with glue and tape.” Then this thought reminded me of my son’s Halloween costume where he made it entirely out of duct tape. I’m glad there are people out there like Steven B. Wheeler who create environments of creativity, fun, and simple. I can’t wait for them to release their kits!
