Another Tomahawk Steak Recipe

I was bored so I made a tomahawk steak.

2.5 pound tomahawk steak

5 tablespoons of your favorite seasoning

1 tablespoon kosher salt

1 tablespoon fresh ground pepper

1/2 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

Oil, not olive oil.

Combine your favorite seasonings into a bowl.

Coat the tomahawk in oil.

Sprinkle your seasoning all over the steak and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Take out the steak at least 25 minutes before you think you’ll put it on the grill.

Set your grill/smoker to as hot as it can go.

Once it reaches the hottest level, please the steak on the grill. Turn down the heat to about 225 degrees.

Cook for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees.

Here’s where I go crazy with new technology.

Let the steak rest for a good 15 minutes. Startup your air fryer and set to 400 degrees.

Cook the steak for 5 minutes, flip and cook for another 4. This will put a nice sear on the steak.

TIP: you might have to cut the meat off the bone but you should keep it for presentation.
