I normally don’t like remakes of movies but that’s changed with Tim Burton and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.\u00a0 There are two things I like about Tim Burton’s style in remakes.\u00a0 He makes the dark scenes dark and he adds a twisted sense of happiness out there with his use of color.\u00a0 Okay, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is not a remake of another movie but we’ll watch this movie thinking of the cartoon (I do this with the kids all the time to compare what was done in the past with the revised version).<\/p>\n

I’m usually at some party where we start talking about movies and who would have played a better character.\u00a0 For Alice in Wonderland I always thought that Johnny Depp would make an amazing Mad Hatter.<\/p>\n

According to IMDB<\/a>, Anne Hathaway will play the White Queen, Stephen Fry will play the Cheshire Cat, Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.\u00a0 Sounds like a fun cast.<\/p>\n

I was thinking of reading Alice In Wonderland<\/a>\"\" by Lewis Carol since the movie is coming out in March of 2010.\u00a0 Maybe I’ll take the family on a trip to Disneyland to ride the tea cups that same week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
