Making turkey, like Thanksgiving take time and you want to make sure you brine the turkey before cooking. Here&#8217;s my turkey brine for smoked turkey legs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Turkey Brine<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 gallon water<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup of your favorite rub<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons onion powder<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons dried thyme<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoons dried sage<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground cloves<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground allspice<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon liquid smoke<\/li>\n<li>Dash of cinnammon<\/li>\n<li>Dash of ground rosemary<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon chili powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>All all the ingredients above and bring to a boil. Make sure the salt dissolves. Let it cool to room temperature. Some people put ice cubes in it to cool it off faster. Do this if you&#8217;re working on a deadline.<\/p>\n<p>Get the turkey legs out and place them in the brine. Let them soak for at least 24 hours. This will give it time for the brine to soak in.<\/p>\n<h2>Smoker<\/h2>\n<p>Start up your smoker and set it to 225 degrees. After being on for about 15 minutes, place your turkey legs on the grill and cook for 4 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Take them out. Let it cool for a few minutes and serve.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find that your turkey legs are better than the ones found at state fairs or Disneyland.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n\r\n                <style
