Just made the mistake of driving a few hours to go apple picking just to find out the apples we wanted are no longer in season.<\/p>\n

The Mutsu apple is one of our favorites and it is a cross between a “golden delicious” and an “indo” apple. Unfortunately, these apples are ready near the end of September and run about 2-3 weeks.<\/p>\n
