Quick recipe for salmon patties. Normally, I do this with leftover salmon. When buying things from a can, I always go with the “in oil” option than “in water”. It taste better.

Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1 (16 oz) can pink salmon<\/p>\n

1 Egg, beaten<\/p>\n

1 Small onion, minced<\/p>\n

\u00bd Cup all-purpose flour<\/p>\n

1 \u00bd Tsp baking powder<\/p>\n

Salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n

1 \u00bd Cups vegetable oil<\/p>\n

Method<\/p>\n

  1. Drain salmon, reserving 2 tbsp of the juice. Remove any skin or bones.<\/li>\n
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together salmon, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Stir in flour.<\/li>\n
  3. Add baking powder to reserved salmon juice, stir well and mix with the salmon mixture.<\/li>\n
  4. Form into small patties.<\/li>\n
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet until hot.<\/li>\n
