These are people who perhaps have lost their basic knowledge of how to behave on the road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">They may have\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edelalon.com\/blog\/2022\/03\/5-terrible-driving-habits-you-need-to-stop-right-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">developed some bad habits<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0that actually endanger others, and some may be in need of refresher courses as well as driving tests to ensure they\u2019re still fit and knowledgeable to drive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With that being said, you want to try and avoid bad drivers as much as you can for both your sake and theirs. Here are five tips for avoiding bad drivers on the road.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Keep your eyes peeled from every angle<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">When they say you need eyes in the back of your head, it\u2019s usually for two things &#8211; when you have children and when you\u2019re driving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Driving is one of those things that can be a real challenge, especially as you need to be aware of who is around you and from all angles. Having an awareness of everything around you, which goes for both drivers and pedestrians, often means you need eyes in the back of your head.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You can only do so much, of course, but it\u2019s important to try to keep your eyes peeled at all times while driving on the road.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stick to speed limits<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Speed limits are in place for a reason, and if you\u2019re not obeying these speed limits, then you\u2019re definitely going to be in trouble yourself. Try to avoid matching the speeds of others that are going over the speed limit or who are equally driving way too slow on the road they\u2019re on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Try to stick within the speed limit. Ideally, ten miles underneath the speed limit is dangerous, and anything over 5 miles can also be a cause for concern. The speed limit is your goal speed, so don\u2019t veer from that speed at any cost.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Remember your driving lessons<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you\u2019re someone who has lost count of the years it\u2019s been since you got your driving license, it may be worth\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drivingtestsuccess.com\/blog\/7-steps-prepare-your-first-driving-lesson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">remembering those driving lessons<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0or getting a refresher course. The reason for this is that you could potentially become a bad driver yourself otherwise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Being mindful of the basics when it comes to driving can help ensure you keep your distance and maintain awareness of other drivers wherever you may be.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Keep a safe distance from other cars<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Always keep a safe distance from bad drivers where you can. That means two cars worth from behind and in front when you\u2019re on the highway.
