Okay, sounds great, but the only problem? Well, you still look like <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">you&#8217;re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> about three spreadsheets away from a nervous breakdown. And yes, by all means, while <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">that\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> normal, it <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">doesn\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> exactly scream<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201c<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">invest in me<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">While <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> entirely unfair, you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">really<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> need to keep in mind that people judge. Harsh, yes, but accurate. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Basically,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> if you show up looking overwhelmed, broke, or like <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">you\u2019ve<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> just run to the meeting from a night shift, then <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">they\u2019ll<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> assume your business is barely hanging on. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Doesn\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> matter how good your idea is, perception wins. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">isn\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> even about investors; this is about customers, talent, content creators, other businesses, well, anyone and anything that could somehow remotely have anything to do with your <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">business<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">While yes, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> not fair, you thankfully <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">don\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> need a mansion, a personal assistant, or anything like that; <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> more about creating an illusion (but not lying). So, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">here\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> what you need to know.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wear the Success First<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You know that feeling when you put on a killer outfit and suddenly feel like you could run a Fortune 500 company? Well, channel that. But seriously, no <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">one\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> asking you to buy a \u00a3700 jacket, but looking polished matters. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For example, try <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and borrow<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">rent<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, or <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">fake<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> it with confidence.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Better yet, just a tailored blazer and clean shoes can do wonders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">But of course, you can always look into renting if you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">just<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">don\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> think your current one looks good, and yeah, a full power suit could be great (and <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/suitor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">renting <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">isn\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> that expensive anyways<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">).<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Just having a <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">really<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> good suit has a way of tricking anyone into thinking <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">you\u2019re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a significant business boss; <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it\u2019s<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">basically<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> magic.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> About what You Pull Up In<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The last thing you want to do is <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> pull up <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">for<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a meeting in a busted old car<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, yeah,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> people will judge horribly for something like that.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Even for people trying to land a job interview, well, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">they\u2019ll<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> be negatively judged on this, too. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You\u2019d<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> be surprised how often the eyes <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are drawn<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to you for something as small as this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">While you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">don\u2019t<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> need to own a luxury car, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">just<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> look like you could.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> If <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">you&#8217;re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> off to a big pitch, networking event, or meeting with someone important, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> worth showing up like you mean it<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and you<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> could ideally look into <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/aetofficial.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">luxury car hire<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, be it you driving the car yourself or even just hiring a chauffer (kind of like how in TV shows mega business people have their <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">own<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> drivers).<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Curate Your Online Glow-Up<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Before anyone meets you, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">they\u2019re<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> going to stalk you. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It\u2019s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> how things work nowadays.
