I feel that going without a shopping list gives you the opportunity to see what\u2019s fresh and available in order to have the best tasting dish. The other part is that it feels like \u201chunting and gathering\u201d and then bringing home what you find. While I love the structure of going to a grocery and knowing what you want and where to get it, I like the freedom of going outside the box.<\/p>\n<p>Going outside the box has pros:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You buy what\u2019s fresh.<\/li>\n<li>No disappointment if the ingredients are not there.<\/li>\n<li>There are chances you\u2019ll find more creative food ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You spend a lot of time in the store.<\/li>\n<li>You buy stuff you don\u2019t need.<\/li>\n<li>You buy stuff you don\u2019t need.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With all this being said, I went out to the market without a list and came back with a great piece of sashimi grade tuna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seared Tuna Sashimi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\nSashimi Grade Tuna<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tools<\/strong><br \/>\nKnife<br \/>\nBlowtorch<br \/>\nCutting board<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><br \/>\nPlace tuna on plate. Turn on blowtorch. Sear the outside of the tuna.
