It doesn&#8217;t have my favorite part, the <a href=\"https:\/\/edelalon.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/onglet-you-ate-one-already\/\">onglet<\/a>, but it covers things like Shoulder clod, Gooseneck round, and D rump. This picture was taken at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco from the booth that highlighted Kobe Beef.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d like to think that if you&#8217;re reading this you already know what Kobe beef is but if not, here you go&#8230;from wikipedia.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Kobe beef<\/strong>\u00a0refers to cuts of beef from the\u00a0Tajima\u00a0strain of\u00a0wagyu\u00a0cattle, raised in\u00a0Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, according to rules as set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing &amp; Distribution Promotion Association.\u00a0The meat is generally considered to be a\u00a0delicacy, renowned for its flavour, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as steak,\u00a0<em>sukiyaki<\/em>,<em>shabu shabu<\/em>,\u00a0<em>sashimi<\/em>,\u00a0<em>teppanyaki<\/em>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Kobe beef is also called\u00a0<em>Kobe niku<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Kobe-gyu<\/em>\u00a0 or\u00a0<em>Kobe-ushi<\/em>\u00a0in Japanese.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That&#8217;s a pretty poor description. How about I just say it&#8217;s the best piece of beef you&#8217;ll ever eat.
