Since there is shortage of Nintendo GameCube controller Adapters for the Wii U, I decided to try out the also fairly newly released Wired Fight Pad by Nintendo. I guess I should start off by saying why I wanted the GameCube controller adapter. It’s mainly because it’s the only way I could possibly beat anyone at Smash Brothers for the Wii U. Other than that, maybe I could use it for Mario Kart.<\/p>\n
I guess you can call me old school with the way I like to play. I have a hard time playing with just the Wii Remote.
\nMany thanks to the people at GameStop who gave me the alternative to the adapter. The adapter comes in a few colors. Red for Mario. Green for Luigi. Pink for Peach. White\/green that represents Yoshi. I thought it would be a little more complicated to setup but it really was just plug and play. Take the Fight Pad and plug it into the Wii Remote. Tada! That easy.<\/p>\n
It feels a little more bulky than the original Game Cube controller but other than that, it works just fine as long as you are within the same normal range of the Wii Remote.<\/p>\n
I’ll probably use this setup for a while; at least until I get the GameCube adapter.<\/p>\n
