About Edel

Experience & Background

Edel is a Project Management Professional, a web developer, a small business owner, and a dedicated family man—a husband to Tamina and father of two. He brings extensive community leadership experience, having previously served as both President and Treasurer of the Gateview HOA (2006–2014) and as PTA President at Ocean View School.

During his past HOA tenure, the board navigated complex management transitions, heavily scrutinized contractor quotes, and learned the intricate realities of passing policies while resolving sensitive homeowner matters.

Edel’s operational background equips him to handle the HOA’s financial and administrative needs with precision. He is highly experienced in budgeting, vendor negotiation, and building asset depreciation models—an analytical background that is invaluable for managing reserve funds and planning long-term maintenance without placing unnecessary financial strain on homeowners.

Vision for the Community

Edel is committed to exploring digital solutions to make community updates, resources, and board decisions much easier for every resident to access and understand.
