3 Billion Yahoo Accounts Hacked

Well, I guess we knew but didn’t really want to know? Thankfully, I removed myself from all things Yahoo in 2005. But now I’m concerned about my fantasy league type of accounts. Yahoo has disclosed that there was a data breach that happened in 2013 that exposed billions of accounts. Not just email.

That’s three billion accounts, including email, Tumblr, Fantasy and Flickr — or three times as many as the company initially reported in 2016.

Names, email addresses and passwords, but not financial information, were breached, Yahoo said last year.

I guess I should take a look at my Flickr account…
