7 Signs You’re A Terrible Driver

0

Do you believe you’re the best driver on the road? Most people behind the wheel of a car believe that they are the best thing to have graced the road in the history of man. The thing is, there is a chance that you’re not as good as you think you are!

Have you ever spoken to a car accident lawyer because of a wreck you were involved in? Have you ever knocked over signs by hitting them on the side of the road? Either way, you need to know if you’re a good driver or not and we’ve got all the tips you need to truly tell below.

  1. You’re always replacing your car. If you’re a bad driver, you will be constantly having your car replaced or fixed. You know the local car salesman by name and you qualify for a lot of car offers because of it. You’re totaling cars left and right and if so, you should think about retiring from driving and letting someone else handle it.
  2. No one picks up a ride from you. You’re not Uber, but you have friends and none of those friends want to drive around with you at the wheel of the car. If people are reluctant to accept a lift from you to get where they need to go, you should consider why they feel so unsafe.
  3. You have road rage. Let’s be honest; it’s the good drivers that can get where they need to be without swearing at other people, right? We all swear if someone cuts us up, but if you’re getting angry, you should consider whether you are driving well enough or not.
  4. You’ve developed a method of getting out of speeding tickets. You should not have to come up with a pattern to get out of tickets. In fact, if you have tickets, you should see that your driving isn’t that great in the first place! The charm you develop to get out of speeding should not be something you have to develop!
  5. You have no caution for speed limits. No, two to three miles over the limit is not okay! You need to pay attention to the speed limits that the road markings say so that you can drive safely. You have to remember that you are responsible for others on the road, and if you’re not careful, you’re going to cause a wreck.
  6. You believe you’re exempt from the rules of the road. You’re not, but let’s go with this. You might have come across similar drivers before, who believe that they don’t have to pay attention to safety rules on the road. However, you are not one of those drivers. If you’re not paying attention to stop signs and parking notifications, you are going to find that your driving really does suck.
  7. You compete. Are you racing others on the road? That’s a sure sign you aren’t as great a driver as you think you are. You need to go back to driving lessons if you feel that the road is a raceway.
