Close-Open
Hold the Hands: Gently hold the baby's hands in your own.
Sing the Chant: Sing the phrase "Close, open, close, open" in a melodic, upbeat tone. Match the Actions: As you say "Close," gently curl their fingers inward to form a fist. As you say "Open," gently flatten or stretch their fingers outward.
Repeat: Repeat the sequence continuously while making funny, affectionate faces at the baby.

You hold out your pointer fingers and gently encourage the baby to grab and align theirs with yours.
