I’ve been asked when to ceramic your car. My answer is to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. I use Chemical Guys Hydro Slick. Per Chemical Guys, it should last a year. For me, I like to clean off everything using Clean Slate any time the season changes and then apply a new layer of ceramic.
The benefit that I’ve seen so far:
- You get to use your product more.
- I think the ceramic tends to fade after 4 months.
- You spend more car time.
